Consumer meat survey launched
Meat Trades Journal has launched a consumer survey to find out about shopping habits when it comes to the retail butcher.
The survey forms part of the activities surrounding National Butchers’ Week and aims to find out a little more about how and why consumers buy their meat.
Ed Bedington, editor of Meat Trades Journal, which organises the week, said: “I’d urge all butchers to send out the survey to their customers using any databases they might have. It’s a great opportunity to get a little insight into consumer habits, and will help form some of the promotional work we’ll be undertaking during the week.”
