Butchers get ready for National BBQ Week
UK butchers are gearing up for the start of the summer with National BBQ Week 2015.
Running from 25-31 May, the annual event usually marks the beginning of the warm weather and represents a key selling period for burgers and steaks as Britain fires up the barbie.
According to Kantar data, there were 116.6 million barbecue occasions last summer and while this was down on 2013, it still represents a huge opportunity for the sector.
Meat Trades Journal took to social media to find out what butchers were doing to make the week a success.
