Etherington’s Butchery Academy offering Father's Day courses
Etherington’s Butchery Academy is offering range of courses for Father’s Day foodie fans.
There are five different courses, which are suitable for foodies, chefs and those passionate about the provenance of their produce. Etherington’s Butchery Academy is affiliated with Cornwall College teaching up and coming chefs the traditional profession of butchery. The Academy has also recently renewed its partnership with Jamie Oliver’s Fifteen Cornwall to provide butchery training to its young students.
The courses, which are held in in Wheal Rose, Scorrier, Cornwall, offer students the opportunity to get stuck into butchering meat, learning about different cuts, quality control and the skills of knife handling. Those on the courses will get the chance to make their own sausages to cut the finest fillet of beef.
Brian Etherington Meat Co, which runs the courses, is a suppliers of wholesale, retail and online fresh meat.
The Butchery Academy prices are Ł70 for a half-day course and Ł135 for a full day course.
