Time is running out to enter Butcher’s Shop of the Year Awards 2015
There’s just one week left to enter Meat Trades Journal’s annual search for the best butcher’s and farm shops in the UK.
The winner of each of the six regional categories will go forward to be considered for the overall title of Butcher’s Shop of the Year, which last year saw Welsh-butcher Edwards of Conwy walk away with the hotly contested accolade. In addition to this, there are five national awards categories, include New Butchery Business of the Year and Young Butcher of the Year, to fight it out for.
This year we have a new category, ‘Best Local Catering Butcher Award’. If you have something to celebrate, why not enter one of our categories to be in with the chance of scooping up a win and reaping the benefits from us.
The awards ceremony will take place at Aspire in Leeds on 12 November 2015, and is kindly sponsored by Weddel Swift, Quality Meat Scotland, AHDB Pork, AHDB Beef & Lamb, Harmony Farm Beef, Hybu Cig Cymru - Meat Promotion Wales, Tican Chilled and Kerry Ingredients (Lucas). The drinks reception is sponsored by Middleton Foods Products.
The deadline for entries is 7 August 2015.
