Traditional sandwich range receives ‘exotic’ update
Pie specialist Wrights has given its sandwich range a modern makeover.
The company now has more than 20 varieties on offer, wrapped in a redesigned packaging for the ‘grab and go’ lunchtime trade.
“Grab and go food is a hot topic in the food industry, with more of us opting to pick up a quick bite on our lunch break,” explained head of new product development Sue Gwilliam.
“Our new range features a selection of fillings to suit all tastes. We’ve included popular classics such as BLT and ploughman’s, but we’ve also brought some more exotic flavours into the mix, such as barbecue pulled pork wraps and chicken and chorizo paninis.”
Also included in the range are: chicken and bacon, egg and bacon, ham and cheese, chicken salad, all day breakfast and chicken and stuffing.
“We’ve streamlined our sandwich selection to provide customers with a simple yet wholesome menu, which offers exceptional value without compromising on quality,” added Gwilliam.
Wrights’ retail outlets can be found throughout Stoke-on-Trent and Crewe and its customers also include independent convenience stores, quick-service restaurants, coffee shops and independent bakeries.
