The world’s best steak is soon to be revealed
We are just days away from the results of the World Steak Challenge.
The best steak producers from around the world will be gathering in Hyde Park, London later this week to find out who is the king of the steaks.
The World Steak Challenge was set up to provide a quick and easy way for countries and steak producers to benchmark their steak production on the world stage. It pitches producer against producer, breed against breed, and country against country. It celebrates the extreme bliss of eating steak as part of a healthy balanced diet and will establish the quality standard of steak production around the globe.
The competition was opened to all steak producers, cattle farmers and ranchers, beef processors, steak brands and beef wholesalers to represent their country and take on the global competition. Entries were received from Australia, Canada, Germany, Ireland, Japan, Netherlands, New Zealand, the UK, the USA and Uruguay.
The World Steak Challenge will reward Gold Standard and Silver Standard steak production, and the big one - The World’s Best Steak 2015.
