New Zealand lamb on AHDB agenda
A review of the sheep meat supply in New Zealand will be among the key topics at this year’s AHDB Beef & Lamb annual conference.
The topic will be the focus of a presentation by Beef and Lamb New Zealand’s Regional Manager for Europe, Dave Harrison, at the event which is free to levy payers and takes place at Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire, on 3 November.
New Zealand lamb was recently in the news following complaints from farmers in the UK that supermarkets were stocking too much of it, lowering domestic prices and putting them under pressure.
Delegates will also hear about the role of livestock in the environment, the future of EU/US trade for beef and lamb and global prospects for the sector.
The full conference programme can be found in the events section of the AHDB Beef & Lamb website beefandlamb.ahdb.org.uk
