Lidl recalls chicken thighs
Supermarket chain Lidl has recalled its 450g Italiamo Italian Style Chicken Thighs due to a labelling error.
Some of the products have been incorrectly labelled with a ‘use by’ date of 16 December 2016.
Point-of-sale recall notices have been displayed in stores and on the company’s website. These advise customers not to eat the product and return it to their local store for a full refund.
Lidl has confirmed that no other date codes or Italiamo products are affected by the recall. This does not affect any other Lidl products.
