Roberts takes temporary role at BMPA
Former AHDB Beef & Lamb chair Stuart Roberts has taken up a role at the British Meat Processors Association (BMPA).
He will be working with the BMPA until a permanent replacement for former director Stephen Rossides is appointed. Rossides retired from the role in December.
Roberts resigned from his role at AHDB Beef & Lamb in August of last year over decisions on how levies collected from producers and processors were spent, saying that more power over these decisions should be given to levy payers.
He had been in the role for less than six months, having replaced John Cross in March.
