Walter Rose launches special sausage for charity

Wiltshire butcher Walter Rose & Son is selling sausages to raise money for charity.

Owner Steve Cook is selling steak and stout sausages for 9.50 a kilo and will donate 25% of profits from every sale to the Julias House Appeal. The sausage has been specially created for the childrens charity appeal.

Cook said: I think Julias House does a tremendous job supporting children and their families, so I am delighted to be able to help. It is good news that the charity is opening a second childrens hospice in Devizes.

The special sausages are made using Corus stout brewed by Wadworth. The fundraising drive is a part of a local campaign to raise money.
