Walter Rose launches special sausage for charity
Wiltshire butcher Walter Rose & Son is selling sausages to raise money for charity.
Owner Steve Cook is selling steak and stout sausages for £9.50 a kilo and will donate 25% of profits from every sale to the Julia’s House Appeal. The sausage has been specially created for the children’s charity appeal.
Cook said: “I think Julia’s House does a tremendous job supporting children and their families, so I am delighted to be able to help. It is good news that the charity is opening a second children’s hospice in Devizes.”
The special sausages are made using Corus stout brewed by Wadworth. The fundraising drive is a part of a local campaign to raise money.
