SuperMeat & Fish Awards 2016 now open for entries
One of the top nights in the meat industry is back for 2016. SuperMeat & Fish Awards is now accepting entries from retailers.
The deadline for entries is Thursday 24 March 2016 and more details on how to enter can be found at www.supermeatandfish.co.uk or by emailing email@example.com.
In 2015 Marks & Spencer won the Meat & Fish Retailer of the Year award while Asda won the Head Office Initiative Award for its Farming for the Future project.
Meat Trades Journal editor Rod Addy said the event is a highlight in the industry calendar. “The competition amongst retailers to win the top prize at the SuperMeat & Fish Awards is always intense and we expect 2016 to be no different. Everybody wants the kudos of being known as the Retailer of the Year because of what it means to their business.”
This year’s SuperMeat & Fish Awards take place on Thursday 14 July 2016 at the Hilton, Park Lane in London. Participating supermarkets already include Aldi, Asda and Morrisons. The event is kindly sponsored by AHDB Beef & Lamb, AHDB Pork and Hybu Cig Cymru – Meat Promotion Wales.
