Q Guild launches new initiative
The Q Guild has launched a new ‘Product of the Month’ initiative.
The programme, which kicks off at the beginning of April, will see the launch of new innovative products channeled via the body’s 110 member shops nationwide on a monthly basis.
“Our key partners’ product development teams will be working closely with the Guild to develop a range of products that they consider can be successful for Guild members – and will be unique to them,” said Mark Turnbull, Q Guild national chairman.
“We are also confident they will prove to be a real hit with our customers.”
To help market the ‘Q Guild Product of the Month’ initiative, members of the Guild will be provided with a purpose-designed package containing posters and other point-of-sale materials to help promote the product. Butchers will also be given a calendar detailing what product is required for each month and instructions on how to create it.
“This is the first national promotion the Q Guild has undertaken in my term at the helm,” added Turnbull. “It will continue every month, with exciting new products launched to the public with the help of our member businesses and key partners.
“We are encouraging all in the Q Guild to support this new campaign and utilise these powerful marketing tools to help drive each member shops forward by working together in partnership to become stronger.”
Turnbull added that this initiative catered to consumers’ demand for new product ideas that were “both inventive and inspirational”.
“This forward-looking project also represents the initial step in bringing the much anticipated new Q Guild digital platform into members’ shops. This is an industry-first in the UK and will be ground-breaking when it arrives later in the year.”
