Linpac welcomes marketing and innovation director
Packaging specialist Linpac has welcomed Dr Helene Roberts as the new group marketing and innovation director, a newly created role for the company.
With a PhD in polymer engineering and a track record in packaging manufacturing and retail innovation, Roberts brings a wealth of extensive and global experience to the business.
“I am really looking forward to the new role at Linpac,” she said. “The packaging industry is exciting, yet challenging, and through our focus on innovation, we can strengthen Linpac’s market-leading position.
“We will continue to meet customers’ needs for quality, sustainability, innovative presentation and cost-effectiveness, ensuring that Linpac remains competitive and at the forefront of technology and development.”
Roberts has recently worked as a senior marketing director at Graphic Packaging International, as well as in strategic marketing for fresh food products and consumer goods alongside Sealed Air.
Her retail knowledge stems from working with Marks & Spencer in various roles, including being based in Asia, before becoming the group’s head of packaging.
“The heart of marketing is translating the trends and drivers of our markets into desirable and deliverable concepts,” said Daniel Dayan, chairman and chief executive at Linpac.
“The core of innovation is turning these concepts into attractive products, creating value for customers and consumers. I am delighted that Linpac can ramp up its investment in these crucial and intimately connected areas and that we have been able to attract an individual of Helene’s calibre and experience.”
