Eversfield Organic charcuterie range to launch next month
Eversfield Organic is launching a new range of British organic charcuterie nationwide from 15 July.
Known as Roam & Relish, the range will be produced using organic meat from animals reared on Eversfield’s Devon farm.
The line will consist of 12 products, including pastrami, salt beef, honey smoked streaky bacon and smoked ham.
“We’re really excited to be launching a new organic charcuterie range, which we believe rivals the best that Europe has to offer,” commented Mark Bury, founder and director of Eversfield Organic.
“We only use the best grass-fed meat, produced at Eversfield and surrounding farms, using the highest animal welfare standards and care, cultivation and breeding methods.
“After the success of the initial soft launch, and the extremely positive feedback we have received, we have high hopes for Roam & Relish.”
All of the beef products are produced using traditional cuts and are matured for a minimum of 21 days and rubbed in spices. The grass-based diet that the animals are raised on results in a well-marbled meat that adds succulence to the finished product.
The pork products available as part of the Roam & Relish range include honey roast lamb, traditional ham, smoked ham, honey smoked streaky bacon, back bacon, smoked streaky bacon, streaky bacon and smoked back bacon.
Pork used is matured on the bone to make the meat more succulent and tender and is cold-smoked over oak logs to develop a gentle, sweet and smoky flavour.
Roam & Relish has so far confirmed listings in Ocado and Whole Foods Market.
