Beef burgers recalled due to labelling error
Sykes House Farm has issued a recall for a batch of its Smiths Beef & Caramelised Onion Burgers over an incorrect ‘use by’ date of 25 July.
A statement on the Food Standards Agency (FSA) said: “Consuming the product after its intended ‘use by’ date could potentially present a risk to health.”
Point-of-sale recall notices have been displayed in stores where the product is sold, explaining why the product is being recalled and informing consumers of the correct actions to take if they have purchased the product.
