Gift voucher scheme to benefit butchers and farm shops
A Premier Butcher gift voucher scheme was launched Wednesday, 6 July at the National Federation of Meat & Food Traders (NFMFT) Members’ Day held in London.
The system is designed specifically for butchers and farm shops to allow them to capitalise on the popularity of gift cards and vouchers.
This initiative will allow consumers to exchange Premier Butcher gift vouchers for quality meat products at butchers’ shops and farm shops that display the Premier Butcher Gift Voucher sign in England and Wales.
NFMFT marketing director Frank Taylor commented: “This is a great opportunity for butchers and farm shops to increase footfall and profits.”
Shoppers wishing to purchase vouchers, available in £25 denominations, can do so by visiting www.nfmft.co.uk or telephoning the Federation. Upon receiving the vouchers, recipients will be able to visit the NFMFT’s website for details on their nearest participating butchers or farm shop.
Businesses taking part in the scheme will be provided with marketing material to help promote the initiative.
Butchers wishing to sign up to this initiative should visit www.nfmft.co.uk
