Morrisons recall follows Listeria discovery
Morrisons is recalling a batch of Peppered Beef Slices following the discovery of Listeria monocytogenes in the product.
The 150g packs of Ready to Eat Peppered Beef Slices have a use-by date of 21 February 2017. No other Morrisons products are known to be affected.
Symptoms caused by Listeria monocytogenes can be similar to flu and include high temperature, muscle ache or pain, chills, feeling or being sick and diarrhoea. However, in rare cases, the infection can be more severe, causing serious complications, such as meningitis.
