Retailer Booths launches British BBQ range

Northern food and drink retailer Booths has launched a new 100% British BBQ range.

Produced in collaboration with Booths’ regional suppliers, including Bleiker’s of Yorkshire and Altham’s of Lancashire, the 31-strong range includes handmade Booths burgers, Booths Lamb and Chilli Koftas, Beef and Sweet Chilli Koftas, Garlic and Herb Lamb Grillsticks, Minted Lamb Breasts, Chinese Rack of Pork Belly Ribs and racks of Pork Loin Ribs.

Almost half of the range is produced by Booths at its central production site in Lancashire.

Booths collaborated with award-winning Yorkshire smokehouse Bleikers, devising three fresh fish dishes: Salmon and Parsley Burgers with Sriracha Mayo, Harissa Mackerel Fillets and Choo Chee King Prawn Skewers. Meanwhile, Lancashire butcher's Altham’s Fine Foods has developed four 100% British chicken dishes, including Wild Garlic Chicken Breast Skewers and Cajun Chicken Breasts.

The retailer has also developed a range of sous vide slow-cooked ribs, chicken wings and pulled pork and lamb and beef brisket, as well as a range of regional American BBQ flavours like spicy chipotle pulled pork and spicy buffalo wings.

From spiced lamb koftas, to harissa mackerel fillets and wild garlic chicken breast skewers, we’ve taken inspiration from around the world to create irresistible combinations for a British summer.”
