Eastern flavours inspire Riverside’s new goujon range

Riverside Foods has drawn inspiration from eastern curry flavours as it expands its chicken goujon and chunk range. 

Made from 100% whole muscle chicken, the company has developed Chilli ’n’ Ginger, Korma, Tandoori, Sweet Chilli, Curry and Hot ’n’ Spicy flavours, as well as Breaded and Southern Fried options.

“We have taken our time to develop a range of new flavour profiles to complement our premium goujons and chunks products,” explained Riverside managing director Leigh Morris.

“The new flavours are really tasty and there’s something to suit everyone. The new flavoured goujons and chunks make tasty sandwiches for fast food establishments or can be served as premium starters or buffet food in restaurants and hotels.”

Riverside Foods, which supplies coated chicken products to the foodservice and wholesale sectors, provides its products as individually quick frozen in easy to store formats. By being individually frozen, you can take out as many from the freezer as needed without having to defrost the whole bag, minimising food waste. The chicken can be cooked in five-ways meaning they can be oven-baked, air-fried, deep fried, microwaved or grilled. All products meet halal requirements and are available in bulk or catering size bags.
