Argentinian steakhouse launches new UK concept

The company behind Gaucho Grill – the Argentinian steakhouse restaurant chain – is to launch a new concept in the UK.

CAU which is an acronym for Carne Argentina Unica will open shortly in Guildford, Surrey.

Gaucho, which already operates 14 sites in the UK, also runs a CAU restaurant in Amsterdam – which specialises in beef and steak prepared in an Argentinian style.

The launch follows a clutch of big name steakhouse restaurant launches, including Jamie Oliver’s Barbecoa and the second site by Hawskmoor in Covent Garden.
