HCC competition winners announced

A woman from London has been rewarded for her love of Welsh Lamb, along with four other very happy customers.

Emma Hughes from Chiswick won 4,000 after purchasing a pack of diced Welsh Lamb shoulder at her local supermarket.

Mrs Hughes, along with four runners-up, were the winners of a competition run by Hybu Cig Cymru Meat Promotion Wales (HCC) and some of the UKs leading supermarkets.

Over 8,000 people entered the competition, which ran between October and November last year on packs of Welsh Lamb and Welsh Beef.

Laura Dodds, HCCs market development manager, said: I would like to congratulate the five winners and hope they enjoyed both their prize and the lovely Welsh Lamb that they bought.

We ran this competition as a reward to the customers who are long-time fans of Welsh Lamb and Welsh Beef and also to entice people to maybe try it and also fall in love with it.
