Simon Howie up for marketing award

Simon Howie, the Scottish butchers, has been shortlisted for Marketing Initiative of the Year in the Scotland Food & Drink Excellence Awards.

Howie has been nominmaned for a brand development campaign, which included a new breakfast range and different packaging to reposition it against developing competition.

Sponsored by the Royal Highland and Agricultural Society of Scotland, the Marketing Initiative of the Year award is presented to the business that has demonstrated the most effective marketing initiative supported by a robust strategy.

Emma Loftus, marketing manager at Simon Howie Foods, said: “We’re delighted to be shortlisted for this prestigious award for a brand development project conceived to push the brand profile even further by developing the language and imagery of the brand, to better engage with the target audience and to enable stronger association with the Simon Howie brand.”
