What’s behind the Red Tractor label?

A video to highlight the process behind Red Tractor food has been produced to celebrate Red Tractor Week and 12 years of the scheme.

The week-long celebration of British-reared, produced and packed food promotes the 78,000 farmers and 600 brands that support the scheme, which has been going since 1990. Red Tractor has produced a video to help consumers learn more about the food behind the Red Tractor label.

According to a Red Tractor spokeswoman, the video was prodcued to show the process Red Tractor food goes through from farm to plate. She said: “It’s a really transparent message on what Red Tractor does.”

Red Tractor Week started on 24 September and is a week-long celebration of British food produced to meet strict welfare and quality standards.
