Yorkshire meat gains chop house contract

The Yorkshire Dales Meat Company (YDMC) has been chosen to be the main supplier to a Manchester-based chop house.

According to YDMC, it will be supplying a newly renovated Grade Two listed building in Manchester. The building, which is known as the Albert Square Chop House, has just been refurbished by the Victorian Chop House Company.

Within the newly restored chop house there will be a dining pub, restaurant and function rooms, which the YDMC will supply meat for.

The YDMC is also a supplier of Sam’s Chop House in Leeds as well as two other chop houses in Manchester.

Yorkshire Dales Meat Company’s Finance Director James Knox said: “This new contract is a fantastic opportunity to be a part of a historic redevelopment and it is always a pleasure to supply restaurants that are as passionate about traditional foods as we are.

The Victorian Chop House Company has an excellent reputation for using high quality, seasonal produce and we look forward to seeing our produce playing a major part in The Albert Square Chop House’s menus.”
