Brakes takes three golds in frozen food awards

Leading foodservice supplier Brakes has scored three gold awards at the British Frozen Food Federation’s (BFFF) Awards.

The company received its gold awards, along with a silver, at the Hilton on Park Lane last Thursday (13 June). Brakes’ pulled pork was named the winner of Best New Main Course – Traditional Style Cuisine category and its Sweet Chilli Chicken Snack Box was named Best New Main Course in the International Cuisine section.

Category merchandising director for Brakes Heidi Easby said: “Quality food is the foundation of our business and we are dedicated to delivering innovative products that meet the ever-changing and diverse requirements of our customers, so we are delighted to receive recognition for four of our new products. To win three gold awards, and to be the only company to do so, is a fantastic achievement and a glowing endorsement.”
