Moy Park appoints new technical director

Poultry producer Moy Park has announced the appointment of a leading authority on food safety, Ursula Lavery, to the executive board as technical director Europe.

Lavery will be given responsibility across Moy Park’s European businesses and will help establish an integrated European technical organisation.

She will be responsible for a team across the UK and Europe while working with global research organisations on food safety and agricultural developments.

Lavery has worked with Moy Park for the last 25 years and has an extended range of experience and knowledge. She is currently on the board of the Food Standards Agency (FSA) Joint Working Group for Campylobacter Reduction, FSA Transport and Processing Sub Committee, British Poultry Council Biosecurity Group and Stakeholder at Liverpool University.
