Cranstons gets ready for food hall opening
Published:  14 November, 2013

Cranstons is set to open its new Food Hall at Orton Grange next Tuesday, with farm-fresh quality meats and local produce.

The move was made as a result of the farm’s development from traditional dairy farm to a retail and leisure complex.

On the opening day there will be drinks, canapés and tasters to welcome shoppers in to the new food hall, with the first 200 customers who spend £20 to receive a pinstripe Cranstons shopping bag.

Managing director for Cranstons Philip Cranston said: “We hope people will come out in force to celebrate the opening with us and enjoy the opening day celebrations. We are really proud of the new Food Hall and feel the whole site including the existing café and gift shop has a lot to offer visitors, especially in the run-up to Christmas.”

The site will be officially opened next Tuesday (19 November) at 11am after Harry Tiffen cuts a ribbon of sausages in front of invited dignitaries, local producers and journalists.
