Countrywide Farmers (CWF) has appointed rural affairs and food chain specialist PR agency, Chamberlain to help grow the business in existing and future markets.

Countrywide Farmers, which has a turnover of £151 million, is engaged in an expansion programme that will eventually see it serving rural communities across the UK with a wide portfolio of products and services.

The retail business boasts 40 stores with plans to expand already in the pipeline. The product range continues to develop with own brand products being a key focus offering customers a wide selection of everyday rural products. The company is also banking on online trading, which is being launched in the Autumn, to widen its reach.

Countrywide Farmers supplies animal feed, seed, fertiliser and crop protection products. It also offers crop marketing through its field sales team.
