Bidvest 3663 doubles fresh meat offering

Foodservice supplier Bidvest 3663 has doubled its fresh meat lines from 15 to 30, after selling 550 tonnes of beef, pork, lamb and poultry since March 2013.

The further 15 lines are now available, including featherblade and minute steak cuts, pork rib and belly, as well as a choice of smaller joints.

Bidvest 3663 head of fresh meat Damian Storie said: “Our fresh and chilled credentials are now well-established, with fresh meat being our fastest-growing range.  We believe the development of this range will meet our customers’ needs in terms of quality, choice and value.”

The range is designed for convenience, including smaller and pre-cut joints that could make life easier for customers, especially in education and healthcare. A number of the lines are Red Tractor- and Quality Meat Scotland accredited.
