QSM marketing kit will help summer sales sizzle

Eblex has issued members of the Quality Standard Mark (QSM) Scheme with promotional material to help butchers boost sales during the summer.

The ‘Cook @ Home for Summer’ kit includes posters and 80 copies of the summer edition of the Simply Beef & Lamb recipe book, featuring summer recipe ideas. The kits are designed to help butchers make the most of the summer trading period and encourage customers to cook with quality beef and lamb.

Similarly butchers will also receive a second kit - The Steak Bar kit - which includes posters, recipe cards, cutting specifications and cabinet tickets.

Head of trade marketing for Eblex Mike Whittemore said: “The promotional kits are just one of the many benefits of being a QSM scheme member. They are developed to create in-store theatre and help drive impulse sales of featured products. Our advice is: as soon as the kits arrive, unpack the contents and prominently display all the materials. Customers will see the fantastic beef and lamb recipes on the posters and be inspired to try something different.”
