Catering butcher rebrands to show ‘DNA’

Birtwistles Catering Butchers, part of M J Birtwistle & Co Food Group, has unveiled a new brand identity.

Hoping to reflect how the business has developed over the past 10 years, it has created a new look to showcase the different elements of the brand.

Glenn Eastwood, managing director, said: “The core of the new brand is a celebration of everything that makes Birtwistles special. We call this the ‘Birtwistles DNA’ and it highlights how different aspects of our business – including state-of-the-art technology, quality meat, our highly skilled butchers and our national delivery service – all come together to deliver a flexible, first-class service to customers.

Formerly a regional butcher, Birtwistles now handles more than 1,300 orders a day from three sites based in Manchester, Milton Keynes and Glasgow.
