Conference to address Welsh red meat supply chain

Hybu Cig Cymru (HCC), also known as Meat Promotion Wales, is to discuss solutions to developing a sustainable and commercial red meat supply chain in Wales at its annual conference, taking place in Llandrindod Wells on 12 November. 

A selection of guest speakers will offer insights and answers that will allow the industry to maximise their full potential. They aim to work together to create and add value to all areas of the supply chain.

It is hoped that this year’s conference will replicate the success of last year’s, which was recognised by communication industry professionals who nominated it for a Chartered Institute of Public Relations award at a ceremony in Cardiff City Hall. The awards ceremony took place on Friday 16 October.

Many high profiled industry professionals have been lined up to speak at this year’s conference. They include: Welsh Government’s Deputy Minister for Farming and Food, Rebecca Evans; Ed Garner, who is the communications director of Kantar Worldpanel; Richard Brown of Gira, Europe’s foodservice market research experts; Patricia Czerniak, HCC’s agent in Germany; and Prys Morgan, HCC’s operations manager.
