Premium pork crackling finds new market

The Snaffling Pig Co, a creator of premium pork crackling, is now supplying products to pub group Brewhouse and Kitchen across the country.

Three flavours of Snaffling Pig will be available in the pubs: perfectly salted, habanero, and low and slow BBQ.

“We are thrilled to be stocking The Snaffling Pig Co in all 11 of our pubs around the UK,” said Matt Preisinger, head of marketing at Brewhouse and Kitchen.

“It’s great to be working with a fellow independent company which is passionate about putting a modern twist on classic British food and drink. Their range of flavoured crackling will make the perfect companion to our home-brewed craft beers and we’re sure our guests will love it.”

Still relatively young, The Snaffling Pig Co was first set up in November 2014 as an independent company with the drive to show how versatile the old pork crackling can really be. Other flavours in the range include salt and vinegar, fiery ghost chili and funky fennel.

This partnership also comes at an exciting time for Brewhouse and Kitchen, as it plans to open new branches in Bournemouth, Southampton, Southbourne and Sutton Coldfield by spring next year.
