Porky Whites Surrey sausages launches range with The Co-operative

Sausage brand Porky Whites has gained listings in 43 Co-operative stores in the Surrey area.

This is the first line the brand has launched with The Co-op, but it does have listings with most other UK retailers. It is hoped the partnership will capitalise on the growth in demand for local produce among shoppers.

Chris Price, managing director of Graham White & Co, spoke to Meat Trades Journal about the partnership. “This is a new venture between our businesses, which I am sure will be successful due to the huge popularity of Porky Whites products in Surrey and across the south of England. Local lines are still on the increase, with all of the retailers and The Co-op in particular has seen improved growth compared to the rest of the market.”

Porky Whites is a family-run business, operating since 1935 in the Surrey area.
