Ambitious graduates called on to join top poultry processor

Northern Irish poultry processor Moy Park is looking for its next intake of young people to partake in its Graduate Management Trainee Programme.

The scheme, which has been running for five years, recently won the Training Programme of the Year award at Meat Trades Journal’s sister title, Food Manufacture’s Excellence Awards.

Moy Park’s training scheme is open to graduates ranging from a variety of disciplines, and is designed to teach participants skills in team leadership, personal effectiveness, financial awareness and commercial acumen. The two-year programme includes four different placements, with graduates gaining a CMI Level 5 certificate in leadership and management.

“Key to our success as one of the UK’s top 10 food companies is a commitment to recruiting and developing talent,” said Katharine Strain, head of talent and organisational development at Moy Park.

“The food industry is fast-paced and ever-changing, with great opportunities for learning, progression and personal reward. Whether your interests lie in technical, engineering, product development, marketing, finance, logistics or any number of other areas – there is a range of stimulating opportunities available.

“We are keen for energetic and ambitious graduates to apply for what is the perfect launchpad from which to build a successful career with Moy Park.”

The deadline for entries closes on Wednesday, 30 November. Applications can be made online.
