Top comedian to entertain at Meat & Poultry Processing Awards 2017

Stand-up comedian Alfie Moore has been revealed as the entertainment at this year’s Meat & Poultry Processing Awards (MPPA).

Perhaps most widely celebrated for his appearances at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, which he sold out four times, he’s also appeared on Radio 4’s Today programme, Sky News, Comic Relief, Radio 5 Live and The Wright Stuff. He also competed on ITV’s Show Me The Funny.

The awards are designed to reward excellence and innovation from processors and processing companies that are leading their sectors.

MPPA is now entering into its eighth year and continues to go from strength to strength, attracting top talent from the entire industry.

“The Meat & Poultry Processing Awards have a tradition of celebrating the best of the industry, and 2017 will be no different,” said Aidan Fortune, deputy editor of Meat Trades Journal.

“Even if your business hasn’t been shortlisted for an award, it’s an opportunity to network with the brightest and the best of the meat and poultry processing industry. The top names from the sector will be in the room and you have a chance to rub shoulders with them.”

The awards will be presented on Thursday, 2 March at the Hilton Manchester Deansgate Hotel. To book your place, click here.
