Rutland Charcuterie launches new meat range

Online charcuterie supplier Rutland Charcuterie Co. has launched a new range of salamis and air dried meats.

The range includes coppa, bresaola, noix de jambon, dry-cured bacon, duck prosciutto, biltong, pancetta, garlic & caraway salami, fennel & coriander salami and guanciale.

It has also launched a range of snacking products in sharesize packs. The three variants are chilli & paprika, fennel & coriander and garlic & caraway.

Nick Brake, founder of Rutland Charcuterie, explained why he set up the business and the opportunity that exists in the sector.

“I became increasingly frustrated that British charcuterie was not more readily available in this country, despite the UK having the best livestock in the world, the highest animal welfare standards in the world and now the technology to produce charcuterie products every bit the equal to those produced on the continent. Hence the idea of The Rutland Charcuterie Company was born out of a desire to put British Charcuterie on the map.”
