Champion of Champions 2017 now open for entries

The nation’s premier sausage competition is now open for entries. 

Taking place on 6 November at County Hall, London, Champion of Champions will celebrate all things great about sausages as well as round off The Big Sausage Week 2017.

If you have won a regional sausage competition in the UK or the Republic of Ireland between 1 July 2016 and 1 September 2017, you can enter this year’s Champion of Champions competition.

Rod Addy, editor of Meat Trades Journal, said: “Over 85% of British homes buy sausages, so they are a staple of our diet. I urge all butchers and supermarkets to get involved with Champion of Champions 2017 and The Big Sausage Week.”
