Lucas extends Smokehouse range to include sausages

Lucas has introduced two new Smokehouse sausage mixes.

Following the success of its Smokehouse burger offering, it has launched a Smokey Paprika that is a blend of Mediterranean flavours, featuring smoked paprika combined with tomato, garlic and warming chilli notes.  Smokey Chipotle & Sea Salt takes its inspiration from Mexican flavours, with a combination of smokey notes, red chipotle chilli and sea salt.

Judith Johnston, sales development manager at Lucas, said: “We’re absolutely delighted with the immediate success of our Smokehouse range. The two burgers – Smokehouse Tennessee and Smokehouse Louisiana are proving to be very popular and that success has led to the launch of the two new sausage mixes.

“The flavour profiles in the Smokehouse range are absolutely right for today’s customers, with plenty of punchy notes blended perfectly, so the final effect is one of a lovely balance of heat and smoke. The sausages and burgers look great, too, with plenty of visible herbs and chillies in the raw mix.”
