New Dalebrook showroom unveiled

Dalebrook Supplies has opened its new flagship showroom.

Billed as London’s first dedicated melamine tableware showroom, Dalebrook hosted an exclusive preview event in association with retail butchery specialist Dalziel.

Representatives from the retail butchery sector included members of the British Beefeaters Team GB and John Mettrick, president of The National Federation of Meat & Food Traders (NFMFT), who attended a day-long seminar and product training event at the Margaret Street showroom. Guests enjoyed a tour of the showroom, product demonstrations and the latest design ideas on deli-counter displays

Martin Chudleigh, sales director at Dalebrook Supplies, said: “We gave each of the 30 butchers who attended a sample of a melamine marble platter, a disposable slate-look platter and a box of garnish.

“I have already had a call from one butcher who went back and set-up his counter display as per the training session; he immediately saw an increase in his sales revenue and was so impressed he said he had to call me.”

David Smith, technical salesman at Dalziel, added: “At Dalziel we continually look at new ways of supporting our butchers. I knew that an event in association with Dalebrook would be a great success and a fantastic opportunity for butchers from all over the country to get together to network and share ideas.

“A key aspect of my work is encouraging my clients to be innovative, by using different ingredients, sauces, crumbs or toppings or changing their counter displays. Dalebrook’s training ideas really will help them to increase both footfall and sales."
