WorldSkills butchery competition in 90 seconds

The government-backed WorldSkills competition series came to an end in spectacular fashion on Saturday 18 November, after a tough, two-day tournament.

Meat Trades Journal is proud to be the exclusive media partner of the WorldSkills butchery competition and it went to visit the six finalists during the first day of the competition at Birmingham’s National Exhibition Centre. For the full results, click here.

Almost 500 apprentices across a host of trade-based professions took part in 55 competitions, ranging from butchery and bricklaying to aircraft maintenance and cyber security.
