Bacon Mac & Cheese pizza unveiled by Chicago Town

A Mac & Cheese with Bacon Deep Dish frozen pizza has been launched under Dr Oetker-owned brand Chicago Town.

Chicago Town claims to be the UK’s leading frozen pizza brand and the limited-edition product has been rolled out across major supermarkets.

“We’re always looking to expand our sub-brand portfolio through innovative products to attract new shoppers to the frozen aisle,” said Richard Cooper, senior brand manager for Chicago Town at Dr Oetker.

“Marrying two family meal favourites together into one fantastic product, we’re confident that the innovative Mac & Cheese pizza will drive category growth and create a great deal of excitement around family eating occasions.”

The frozen pizza is part of Chicago Town’s six-strong Deep Dish range. The new product combines a macaroni and cheese topping, sprinkled with bacon, mozzarella and cheddar.

The bulk of Dr Oetker’s pizzas for the UK market are manufactured at the company’s Leyland factory in Lancashire, built in 1995.

Dr Oetker is a German food company that makes home-baking products and frozen pizza brands like Chicago Town and Ristorante.
