Peter's Foods extends Premier range in multiples
Peter’s Foods is to extend its Premier range of sausage rolls and pasties this April by introducing seven new or improved lines in the big four multiples.
Available from today (Monday), the new lines will be sold in Asda, Tesco and Morrisons and Sainsbury’s across England and Wales, as well as food service outlets nationwide.
Peter’s marketing director James Osgood said: “We have been extremely pleased with how well our Premier range has been received by the British public, specifically the Premier Slice range which smashed sales targets and increased the value of slice sales for Peter’s by 55%.”
He added: “These lines are part of the continuous improvements we make to our brand through relevant and delicious products, stand-out and trend-setting packaging and a constantly evolving range – giving our sales force, our customers and our consumers something to get excited about every season.”
The improved range will include the Premier Sausage Roll (165g), the Premier Pork & Pickle Roll (165g), a five-pack of Premier Sausage Rolls (300g), the Premier Cornish pasty (220g), the Premier Pilgrims Choice cheese & onion pasty (220g), a four-pack of Premier Cornish Pasties (520g) and a four-pack of Premier Spicy Chicken Fajita Slices (420g).
The Premier Sausage Roll and the Premier Pork & Pickle Roll are said to be a full 25g heavier than competitor products on the market and are claimed to be improved with increased meat content.
