Calling all golfers

17 March, 2011

Golfers from across the meat industry are being given a chance to hone their skills, or lose some balls, while raising money for charity.

A golf day has been organised in aid of the Butchers’ and Drovers’ Charitable Insitution (BDCI), taking place on 3 June at Surrey Downs Golf Club, Kingswood Surrey.

Play will begin with a shotgun start under Stapleford rules off full handicaps in four balls, organisers said.

Places are limited to 72, and the charity is urging people to register before 25 March, with places given on a “first come first served” basis.

To register, either call 01727 896094, or email info@bdci.uk.com
