Free sausages if you buy my house pledge
Scottish butcher Simon Howie is enticing prospective buyers to his Highland home by throwing in a year’s supply of sausages.
The Perthshire businessman is selling his seven-bedroom Victorian farmhouse in Easter Ross.
The holiday home at Fearn, Tain, in Easter Ross, is on the market at offers over £750,000.
But he has promised the successful bidder will also receive as much link and Lorne sausages as they can eat for 12 months.
Michael Jones, of estate agents Knight Frank, said: “Not only will the buyer be getting a sizeable house, ideal as a family home, but Mr Howie has also decided to offer a year’s supply of sausages.”
“If the buyer prefers bacon, black pudding or haggis, I’m sure something could be negotiated, however.”
