Aubrey Allen celebrates award hat-trick
Coventry-based catering butcher Aubrey Allen has won Restaurant magazine’s Chef Choice Awards for the third year running.
The firm won the ‘meat supplier’ title in the 2012 awards, which are nominated and voted for entirely by chefs from pubs and hotels to Michelin-star restaurants around the UK.
Managing director Russell Allen said: “What an amazing way to start 2012! Winning the title three years in a row is a fantastic accolade and the best recognition and endorsement we could possibly receive from our customers, who share the same appreciation for the best of the best quality meat that’s available.
“Our thanks particularly go to all the chefs for taking time out of the kitchens during their busiest time of the year just to vote for Aubrey Allen and to Restaurant magazine for organising the awards.”
To thank its customers, Aubrey Allen has launched a ‘Hat-Trick’ heroes campaign, featuring a series of promotions and special lunches. The company also commissioned a commemorative cake for its 100 staff.
