Dunbia and Dalziel launch beef brand

Dunbia and Dalziel have teamed up to launch a new premium beef brand for catering, retail and butchery customers.

The ‘Drovers’ brand was officially launched at Dunbia’s facility in Kilbeggan, Ireland, and is available from Dalziel’s six depots across the UK.

Speaking at the launch, David Whyatt, sales director at Dalziel, commented: “I am delighted to be launching a new premium beef brand in partnership with Dunbia. ‘Drovers’ depicts excellent quality beef at competitive prices, with a product line suitable for a wide range of outlets including catering, retail and butchery, which will fit with our existing customer base, as well as positioning us as a preferred beef supplier for new customers. In addition, the range can be tailored for convenience and adapted to suit individual customer needs without compromising on quality.”

Marc Driver, Dunbia group sales manager for beef, added: “At Dunbia we have the knowledge, expertise and sourcing ability to guarantee that Drovers beef will deliver consistent quality. We understand the expectations of customers and that is why the Drovers brand will be sourced from selected farms and produced within extremely tight specifications to achieve such premium quality.”
