Co-operative Food relaunches own brand
The Co-operative has added several new products to its existing cooked meats range and reformulated existing products with a new look.
Emphasising the importance of standards, the Truly Irresistible products are all British Red Tractor farm assured and RSPCA Freedom Food accredited.
Kate Jones, head of product development at The Co-operative Food, commented on the fact that many of the products are on permanent offer: “With savvy Brits still keeping a tight grip on purse strings, cooked meats are a great way to spice up lunchboxes, with endless combinations that can be made into tasty sandwiches or salads – and all for a fraction of the price of a pricey lunch out in a sandwich bar or café.”
She added: “Our range is great quality, with products developed to strict welfare and provenance standards. And, with a store in every UK postal area, it’s easy to pick up a pack on your way home from work.”
Products that have been added to the existing range include dry-cured Applewood smoked ham, dry-cured honey and mustard ham, peppered pork loin, silverside sliced peppered beef, Spanish tapas selection and a German sausage selection.
The relaunch of the range will take place in stores on 27 February 2013.
