Walkers revamps meat and poultry crisps
Walkers will be adding British meat to its previously artificially flavoured smoky bacon and roast chicken crisps in a bid to support home-grown ingredients.
The crisp giant will source meat from British farms, marking the next step for Walkers in the process of making its crisps more authentic and home-grown.
The roast chicken flavour will now contain actual free-range chicken from Devon and the smoky bacon flavour will use extracts of RSPCA-certified British pork from Norfolk.
On Friday, Walkers will start its new ad campaign, fronted by Gary Lineker, where the new added ingredients will be promoted.
