Win free places at Sheep Breeders conference

An opportunity for free access to the Sheep Breeders Round Table conference, worth Ł300 per person, is up for grabs for two people.

Quality Meat Scotland’s (QMS) Sheep Strategy Group has said it is giving “two enthusiastic” people the chance to attend the Nottingham-based conference, covering the fee and accommodation charges. The conference runs from 1-3 November 2013.

“It is open to people who are interested in sheep farming – including farmers, students and researchers,” QMS said.

It added: “The Sheep Breeders Round Table is a biennial event and is an excellent opportunity to meet with forward-thinkers in the global sheep industry. This competition is ideal for anyone interested in developing their knowledge of the world of sheep.”

This year the conference will look at ‘Transforming Data into Profit’. The competition to attend for free will end at 5pm on Friday, 4 October and the winners will be expected to present their findings, post-round table, to the Scottish Sheep Strategy Committee.
